The same five-session camp, spread across five Saturdays instead of a single week. For families who can't give up a whole weekday week, or who want art to be the thing the weekend is built around.
How It Runs
Five Saturdays, two hours each, ages 4 to 14 working side by side. Mixed ages sound harder than they are β younger children learn by watching older ones, and older ones learn by explaining. Everyone works at their own level on the same technique.
-
Week 1: Sketching. Holding a pencil with intent, looking closely, and drawing what is actually there rather than what we assume.
-
Week 2: Colour Mixing. Primary colours and what happens between them. Hands-on, messy, and the week most children talk about afterwards.
-
Week 3: Watercolour. Wet brushes, soft blends, and learning to let the water do some of the work.
-
Week 4: Acrylic Painting. Choosing a subject and starting a real painting on canvas.
-
Week 5: Finishing and Gallery Day. Completing and signing the painting. Every finished piece is photographed for our Student Gallery.
Dates
21 and 28 November, then 5, 12 and 19 December 2026. 1:00PM to 3:00PM each Saturday.
