By their teens, most students already know whether they love to draw. This class gives that interest real structure: drawing fundamentals, colour theory, and enough independence to start developing their own style.
How the Class Works
Sessions run 1.5 hours and move at a faster pace than our younger classes, with more technical depth: perspective, shading, composition, and how to plan a piece before starting it. Your teen works alongside a small group of peers in the same age range, so the pace actually matches where they are.
We also connect what we teach to what they are doing at school. If your teen takes art as a subject, the drawing fundamentals and colour theory covered here carry directly into that coursework — and lay the groundwork for those considering an art pathway like SOTA or NAFA.
