Portfolio Development

A private mentorship for students aiming at SOTA, NAFA, LASALLE, or an international art school. For students aged 8 to 17. This is not a class — it is a guided path from where your child is now to a portfolio that stands out.

A pathway, not a syllabus

Every portfolio is different, because every student and every target school is different. We do not run Portfolio Development to a fixed curriculum. We build it around your child: their current skill, their target school, and the specific qualities that school's panel looks for.

It starts with an assessment

Bring your child to the studio for a focused one-to-one session (1.5 hours, S$90). Your child sketches a still life while the teacher observes closely — reading their handling of observation, proportion, and light. From that, we map a teaching plan customised to your child and to the school they are aiming for.

It is also a chance to see how we teach. If our approach feels right for your child, we continue together. If not, there is no pressure — you will still leave with an honest read on where your child stands and what a competitive portfolio would take.

How it works

  • One teacher, every session. Your child works with the studio's founder throughout, right up to final submission. Progress compounds when someone remembers exactly where they stopped last time.
  • Built for the target school. SOTA, NAFA, LASALLE, and international schools each want something different. The plan reflects that from day one.
  • No rush. We start when your child is ready and move at the pace real skill requires.

Our students go on

One of our students built her portfolio here and earned her place at SOTA — not with work we prepared for her, but with a body of work she developed, piece by piece, with our guidance.

Assessment slots are limited to weekends, by appointment. Places on the mentorship are limited each intake.
